Poon Time

Fishing continued to be good so far this week, both day and night.

Monday morning James Millings caught a nice tarpon and a permit. We only saw a few bones and didn?t really get enough opportunities. It was a good morning anyways.

Tuesday night I took John Doherty and son Alex intracoastal fishing for baby tarpon. Things got off to a slow start. When it got good it was real good. We wound up being 4 for 10. The tarpon ranged in size from 6 to 15lbs. Caught on 12# tackle. Nice job on your first and second tarpon Alex.

Night fishing should remain good, on the right tide, through the summer. Plan in advance and get on the best bite.
